Welcome to our blog!

I was inspired to create a blog after two of my very brilliant classmates did so. My intent is to give our friends and family an opportunity to stay in touch with our family, especially the little members. As you all know, Noah is awaiting the arrival of his baby sister. Addie is due to arrive in about 10 weeks, and will be formally named, Addison Marie Stanley. Addison is a name that we both agreed upon very early in the pregnancy and Marie is after my sister, who passed away in 2004. I would say that Noah is very anxiously awaiting the arrival-anxious because he isn't quite sure how she is going to influence or disrupt his life. He is very aware of the changes to my body and the house....and asks lots of questions about the changes. Just the other day, Addie gave me a nice sharp kick in the ribs and Noah ran to me. With a look of concern on his face he asked, "What's wrong mama? She trying to get out?" Ahh, the innocence of a two year old.
