Baby Shower

I had a wonderful baby shower this past weekend! It was hosted by three of my best girl-friends (Stephanie, Courtney, and Chae) and another wonderful friend helped tons too-Allison! It was an intimate dinner shower with delicious food and great company. It was a magical evening. :)

In other news, Noah has been perfectly content to resist all potty training efforts until recently. His two Winston Salem buddies are approaching diaper freedom, while Noah politely declines all offers to sit on the big-boy potty. Two weeks ago, we decided to offer a "reward" for pee peeing on the potty and yesterday-he did it 3 times! He actually told me one time that he needed to go! The reward that has brought us to this place is: yellow gum. He loves juicy fruit. With any luck, we'll have him out of diapers before Addie starts into stage 1 Swaddlers. Keep your fingers crossed everyone!

Danny and his Dad finished building Addie's doll-house bookshelf last weekend and Danny has been working diligently on priming, sanding, and painting it since Sunday. With a little luck, it'll move into her room tomorrow. It, by the way, is one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture ever made. :) Unfortunately, my father-in-law and husband won't be taking orders anytime soon.
